Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of the Maison Maron website and to all purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
1. About us. Maison Maron sells digital sewing patterns. Our full business and contact details are set out in the Contact Information section.
2. Our products. All products are digital PDF sewing patterns, delivered by email and download immediately after purchase. They are files, not physical goods, and nothing is shipped. A pattern is a set of instructions for making a garment, not a finished garment.
3. Orders and payment. Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through our checkout provider (Shopify). Your order is confirmed once payment is completed and the files are made available to you.
4. Delivery. After a successful purchase, your files are made available instantly via email and/or a download link. Please check your spam folder if you don't see the email, and contact us if you have any trouble accessing your files.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds. Because our products are digital content supplied immediately, your 14-day right of withdrawal ends once the download has begun, which you confirm and consent to at checkout. Please see our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
6. Licence and intellectual property. All patterns, files, illustrations, instructions, text, and images remain the intellectual property of Maison Maron and are protected by copyright. When you buy a pattern, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. You may: print the pattern for your own use and sew items for yourself, your family, and as gifts. You may not: share, copy, resell, sublicense, distribute, or publish the pattern files (in whole or in part), use them for teaching or commercial mass-production, or claim them as your own. If you'd like to sell items made from our patterns, please get in touch first.
7. Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or infringe our or others' rights.
8. Liability. Our patterns are provided in good faith and tested for accuracy, but sewing results depend on your own materials, tools, and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of a pattern beyond the purchase price paid. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
10. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this website at the time of your order.
